Looking Ahead

So the past several days I've been going through my every expanding collection of InStyle magazines to draw inspiration for the new year as I a new and improved self. I've been inspired to be more stylish, chic and sophisticated. To be more polished and put together head to toe. I've got plently of inspiration and I'm going to put it to good use!!!

New Year fastly coming up on us

I can't believe this year is almost over, yet I'm looking forward to the new year and what it has instore for me. I'm ready to start another wonderful year. The last 2 yrs, 2010 and 2011 have been wonderful, and so good. Each yr seems to top the last one and I'm hoping it will continue with 2012.

I've accomplished a lot this yr. Going to Chicago was one of them and I loved going there over the summer and that's part of the plan for 2012, to go again in July. If I could, I'd just move up there because its so beautiful and there's so much to do. I can't get enough of it. It would be wonderful if I could live in Naperville, just about an hr out of Chicago. At least one can dream.

New for Fall

I got both of these tops at The Limited on sale. I love them. They are comfy and they had flaws. I had to order the silver/puter on from The Limited because they didn't have my size, and if you order instore they don't charge shipping/handling!!! I got the purple this afternoon. Can't wait to wear them. No more shopping for clothes until Black Friday!!! Just had to share my fabulous finds from a chic woman!!! ;  )

I'd totally Wear This For Fall....

I love fall clothing the best. So I got to looking at The Limited (http://www.thelimited.com/) online for some nice tops for fall and that would look good under a black cardigan and I found these 3 tops that I would put with a nice pair of black slacks or a pencil skirt. I have grad party to go this weekend I think I might get the silver on for something different.

Fashion's Night Out

Tonight (Sept 8, 2011) was Fashion's Night Out. It was amazing. I'd go again next year at fashionable Utica Square at Miss Jackson's. It was well put together, organized and of course fashionable. It gave me ideas for my own wardrobe on my budge, but it was nice to see what's new for fall. Now I want a nice, soft, comfy white blouse, and I know a few shops that I can look at to see which one I like the best.

P.S. This is my first blog on blogspot and tonight, I was truly living the good life.
