Chicago...My Favorite Getaway

I've been in love with Chicago since I went in 2005, and over the past few years its been my dream to live there because its just so beautiful and there's so much to do. Here are some pics of Chicago.... A few of them I took myself and the rest I found on Pinterest.

Ocean's 11-13

I'm a fan of George Clonney and I think some of his best is Ocean's 11, Ocrean's 12 and Ocean's 13. So last night I had a George Clooney marathon of all 3 Ocean's movies, and I loved it. I'd seen the first 2 countless times, but I hadn't even seen 13, until last night, and I love it more than 12. It has more wit and its just all around better, I think.

Just Had to Share

Friday afternoon, after I went to the gym, I went to the mall, to get some new pants that were 40%, and as I was trying on, I've lost a pants!!! I'm so proud of myself and it helps keep me motivated as well. Its pushes me to keep on going, even though I had some junk food Sunday, with a latter included in that, but going to the gym this week will help and thankfully its something I somewhat like to do.

So I'm getting there in reaching my goal. I really wanna lose 10 lbs by March. I have some events I'll be attending and looking my best is top on my list for the events.

Just Some Favorite Books

Every year I like to select a handful of books to read for the year. This year I've just about selected my books, all by my favorite author, Mary Kay Andrews (www.marykayandrews.com).

All the books I've read by Andrews have been great beach reads all year long. They are just fun and LOL kind of books. Right now I'm reading Hissy Fit. I have a picture of the covers featured below, along with some other books I've read and I plan on reading as well.

My favorite are Little Bitty Lies, Hissy Fit, Savannah Breeze, Savannah Blues, and The Fixer Upper.

Posh Style

There are some celebs that have styles you want to copy or at the very least work part of their look into what you already have such as Victoria Beckham. While no, she's not my favorite person, there are a few outfits that I really like that I've seen her wear and I'd add them to my closet.  Click on the pictures to enlarge them!

January 2013!!!!!!!!!

It's time to start a brand new year. 2013 is going to be a wonderful year, I can just feel it. I see the new year as a blank canvas that beckons to be filled, with joy, love, happiness, enriching friendships, some traveling, and so much more...I want to make this THE YEAR for all things wonderful & enriching!!!
