9 to 5 Work Chic Part 4

9 to 5 Work Chic Part 4........

I know some of the pants featured are a little tight, almost too tight for the office. Think more form fitting and less second skin.

9 to 5 Work Chic Part 5

9 to 5 Work Chic Part 5.... When dressing for the office, don't show cleavage, don't wear your skirt above your knees, and always, always make sure of what the dress code is in the office. Don't always go by what your coworkers wear because they could be on the verge of getting the axe to say the least. Dress modestly, classic and always wear a suit either a pants or skirt suit with the matching jacket. Don't wear shoes you'd see on a stripper, don't wear so much makeup that people think you work at a makeup counter, unless you do, its okay. If you are going for that promotion, dress like you mean it and deserve it!

Sundresses

Chic, stylish, light weight, beautiful flowing sundresses. That's what my summer wardrobe was missing. This evening when I went to the mall, I went to Ann Taylor and found a really chic sundress, and I thought of the events throughout summer I'll wear it too and I let it be a nice little splurge that I'll wear again and again. I think every summer wardrobe should have at least 5 stylish sundresses you can just toss on, and they can be casual or easily dresses up.

I love this dress. Its soft, comfy, yet elegant and chic.
This dress I bought.

I love this dress. I wish I know where to find one really close to it for
summer and early fall.

This just says summer with its two-tone orange hues. Great for heading to
out door concerts and local markets.

A light, sky blue is always a refreshing hue during the hot summer.

This on I'm eyeing until it goes on sale. I really love it and its
perfect summer night out with the girl's or any summer event.

I love the different shades of blue with the yellow at the bottom of the dress.

Just Some Favoite Nail Polish

I pride myself on doing my own manis and pedis, so I don't mind paying $8 (Essie)-$9 (OPI). I loving doing my nail myself. Its just fun and relaxing. I like to do my nails when I watch a DVD then I feel like I'm doing 2 things at once and I don't have to worry much about smeaing or smudging them. I love doing soft pinks, and purples for spring/summer and then a nice dark burgundy for fall/winter. I need to toss in a nice red for all year around, but since I'm picky, I'll stick to what I like and love.

From top to bottom:

Essie in Under Where?
OPI in Lucky Lucky Lavendar
Essie in Playdate
Essie in DJ Play That Song
OPI in Diva of Geniva

Feminine, Ladylike Style

I for one, love a nice feminine, ladylike style, especially in the summertime. It just feels good to dress up a little extra in the morning, to put a little extra effort into how you dress for the day. A feminine, ladylike style is something you don't see everyday hardly, so its always something refreshing to see over sweats and a T.

Dressing up and spending a little extra time on yourself in the morning can go a long way in your day, by how you're treated at work to get doors held open for you to A-list treatment at upscale restraunts. Try it...what do you have to lose?

Elizabeth Taylor...A Classic Beauty

Elizabeth Taylor was know for her beautiful violet eyes, her jewelry and her eight marriages, with 2 of them to the same man!  Below are pictures of Liz over the years, however I don't post any of her as an old woman, not because she wasn't pretty, but to see and remember her during her hayday, at her best.
