The April 2013 issue of InStyle if full of color!!! Love it!!! LOL!!!!

I love Zooey Deschanel's dress on page 27. So springy, and lacey!!!!  On page 48 you can see Zooey as a blonde back in April 2003.

104 is full of Even Rachel Wood's guiliest pleasures!!! Vegan cup cakes is just one, and who can complain about that?

Floral skirts are all the rage on page 197 & 198. On page 198, I love the Ann Taylor skirt for my wardrobe, as well as a few others.

Spring Coats on page 201 has everything from the artsy in us to a nice classy lady like look on the following pages. I like the nice black n white Kate Spade coat on page 202.

Wardrobe All Stars starting on page 265 is so good. Stripes on pg. 265, Geometric Pattern and Leather on pg 266. Love the Sparkle on 268 and I'm really loving the red stilettoes on page 270. And the white lace top is stunning on page 272, which would look good with the animal print pants on the same page. Then Bold Florals closes out on page 274. I love the watercolor look for the floral Charles David silk-satin and leather heels.

Ready for their Close-Up on page 333 is amazing. From shoes to clutches. I love the heels on page 336.

Green Lights on page 350 is a nice way to add small accents of green in the forum of earrings. I have a couple of pairs myself and its nice soft pop of color when, for me, its something unexpected. Goes well with black n white.

And on page 352...why not have a black or white watch to go with this season's trendy hues of the same color.

The leather heels by Charles David is beautiful on page 361. I want them for my spring/summer attire.

Zooey look ultra chic on page 371 in her black n cream spring coat, orange lacey top and cream hues skirt.

You Complete Me begins on page 384. The shoes, purse, sunglasses, and driving gloves has a nice mod feeling on page 386.

Thrilling Them Softly is wonderful, on page 390. Thandie Newton looks chic, sophisticated, and classy in the springy/summer hues from head to toe. I love her dress on 390, the color of her skirt and shoes on 392, her whole outfit on 393.

The green eyeliner on page 407 is refreshing to see. Very modern and up to date. Its splash of color without very much color.

InStyle March 2013

I just love the March issue of InStyle. Its always jammed packed with the new clothes for spring. Its full of inspiration and overflowing with ideas of what to update my spring wardrobe with. All 594 pages as full of ideas and so much more. The ads alone are inspiring and breath taking!!!

Beginning on page 148 you can get ideas for 28 days worth of outfits. Day 7, 16, 22, and 28 I'd wear myself.

On page 194 you can find out where to get perfume that smells like lemon meringe pie to caramel semifreddo, which eatting would be even better!!!!

I liked reading Designer Focus Donetella Versace on page 239. So insprition and she gives some really good ideas on what to wear.

On page 246 & 247 Her 10 Best Ever, Nicole Kidman looks stunning my faves are 10, 3, 2, and 1. Always looking chic!

Pages 265 to 275, plus the fold out has all the latest pics from the Golden Globes. My favorite dresses were woren by Anne Hathaway in Chanel Haute Couture, Kate Beckinsale in Gucci, Nina Dobrev in Oscar de la Renta (such a springy hue).

You Look starts on page 285 and there you can find your perfect spring coat, but a trench is always a classic! Then hop on over to page 289 for Instant Style and find 5 Key Pieces to wear on the weekend and then to work during the week.

How to Organize Your...Bags, Shoes and Jewelry begins on page 349 and you can find tips, ideas, and advice on to get your closet in shape, well organized as well as your bags, shoes, and jewelry. I really liked their ideas on page 354, the whole page, top to bottom!

Then finally skip over page 363 for Clothes We Love. From flaming reds/oranges to tuxudos 2.0. The sofet pastels are refreshing as the blooms on the trees. I like Special Effects on page 376-377. I found a skirt at Ann Taylor that's a different hue, but the same idea as the Bottega Veneta dress featured. Then you can do florals in a modern way. Page 382 show cases the ever popular graphic black & white. A trend that's will never go out of style and its always classy and classic. Page 386-388 talks about how you can wear leather in the spring and summer. I do like the 3.1 Phillip Lim pink dress. If it wasn't leather, I'd wear it.  I just love page 392...lace dresses!! I own 2 lace dresses, one black and one white...naturally, yet in style with the trends!! LOL!!! Personally I'd wear the Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet dress. You can find this dress at www.shopbop.com. I personally like the lace dresses at JCPenny. They are a lot less yet still stylish. A-line skirts are always nice...on page 394. Ruffles are sweet on page 396 and closing out on page 398 is a peek-a-boo shoes, tops, and skirts...all tastefully done.

The Eyes Have It!!!!

Eyeshadow. I love it. It can change your eyeshape, open up the eyes, and so much more. My favorite shade is MAC. They have so many beautiful colors.

 Every time I go to the MAC counter its like being in a candy store, yet its not fattening. LOL!!!

Friendship...Its Meaning to Me

Friendship. It can be a wonderful thing. A blessing. But on the other hand, it can be a disappointment. It sometimes can take a little time or a certain situation to find out who your real friends are.

To me, friendship is like a marriage, you are there for your friend through thick and thin, in sickness and health. You're there just to hold their hand even if you can't fully understand what they might be going through. You are there through the ups and downs, boyfriends, marriages, husdands, the birth of yours and their kids, bringing them chickend soup when they are sick, a shopping buddy, and simply some to just chill out with. Even a simple hug and saying "I love you, I'm truly blessed to have you as my friend", can be a wonderful thing.

Friendship is when you know about about each other, and you like each other anyways.

I have been blessed with some really wonderful friends in my life. One is my mom, which she puts up with a lot out of me. LOL!!! We have our moments, but they pass faster than they come up. My other friends a blessings because they came into my life when I needed them the most, and they were there for me.

Family isn't always blood. It's the people in your life who want you in theirs: the ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile & who LOVE YOU no matter what.
Friendship is when people know all about you but they like you anyway.

They have seen you at your best and stuck with through you're lowest of low points and at the end of the day they are still proud to call you their friend.

Friday and Sunday night I spent some time with a very wonderful friend. We both enrich each other's lives and we have a lot in common. I consider this friend, like a few other close friends, a blessing. My life would've been just fine without her, but she's truly enriched my life in ways I couldn't think would be happening at all.

Nail Polish

I liked to be well polished, head to toe, nails included. I've gotten it down to 2 shades a year, one for spring/summer and fall/winter. I wear Diva of Geniva for fall/winter and Lucky Lucky Lavendar (both OPI) for spring/summer. I really love those shades and I've been wearing them for quite sometime.

A new shade, to me, is Splash of Grenadine by Essie, a slightly darker hue than Lucky Lucky Lavendar. Its one I'd love to get and see what I think of it.

Anne Hathaway

I think Anne Hathaway is such a unique beauty. She has such unique features, and now I love her short do'. As its grown out, it has a feminine, sophisitcated flair to it, and she still looks womanly. Here are some pics of her with both long and short hair. If I could pull it off, I'd maybe go short like she did, as her hair is growning out. I hope she lets it turn into a classy bob!!!

Sheath Dreses

Sheath dresses. Every woman should have at least two in her closet. They are easy to slip on, and accessorize. They are classy, chic, stylish and sophisticated. You can wear them to weddings, baby showers, at work, after work, brunch with the girls and so forth.

At one time I thought of sheathes as too plain and kind of boring. But now I have a closet full of them. I love them. They are truly elegant dresses.
